BROOME COUNTY BASIC GOING STRONG

We have been going strong since Monday at Broome County. We have a full class and students have been learning from SRO's along with specialists in their current fields.

This morning, students were able to hear from Dr. Paul Alioto on special education. Dr. Alioto brings an entire career of experience including his tenure as a coach, school counselor, principal, director of curriculum, CSE director, and over a 20 year stretch as superintendent at multiple districts.

Later on in the day, students will be learning about threat assessment from the New York State Department of Homeland Security, who have master trainer certifications in that field and have been training county wide threat management classes all throughout New York state.

At C-PASS we continually strive to bring guest speakers who are specialists in their field so that someone who comes out of a C-PASS class has the best chance at understanding the difficult world of education, and best prepared to protect our world's most precious asset - our kids. Thank you to Sheriff Fred Akshar and the Broome County DA Paul Battist for making this class possible.

For those of you who couldn't make our class in Broome, registration is live for Saratoga, August 5-9.
