Cannabis Legislative Briefing

Just a few notes on the briefing from NYSSA tomorrow. There are only 200 spots available, and as of right now we have no idea how many people are going to attempt to attend. If you don't happen to get in or can't make it, we will be hosting the video in our monthly virtual video area of this website.

There will be another post shortly after the webinar tomorrow with a summary of findings, and directions on how to watch the recording.

For those who didn't see the invite link from NYSSA, here is the email sent out by Deputy Executive Director Gallo.

In follow up to last week’s announcement, the New York State Sheriffs' Association, along with C-PASS, will be hosting a Cannabis Legislative Briefing webinar for School Resource Officers on APRIL 14th, 2021 from 12:30-1:30pm. NYSSA staff will go over the new cannabis legislation, as well as answer questions as they pertain to SROs.

It is recommended that you join this meeting via the above WebEx link, even if joining by audio only, so we’re aware of your participation and to allow you to have the best interactive experience. Due to the anticipated size of our audience, we will only be able to field questions from users logged into the briefing using the WebEx app.

Strong interest in this briefing may also limit your ability to join this session as we’re capped at the first 200 participants, so we do suggest you plan accordingly. The meeting room will open 15 minutes prior to the session to allow new WebEx users time to sign in/connect. If you are unable to join, this briefing will be recorded and uploaded to the C-PASS website under the monthly video training session

Thank you.
