​ UTT​

  1. Notify Guardian

  2. Fingerprint the juvenile segregate from adults.

  3. Issue a UTT to the respondent to local court.

  4. File an adult Felony Accusatory Complaint

​Arraignment

  1. Notify Guardian

  2. Fingerprint the juvenile segregate from adults.

  3. If there is a gap in any time from processing to court, the juvenile must be released to their parents with instructions to return to court at the appropriate time.

  4. The juvenile must be arraigned with a lawyer/public defender present.

  5. File an adult Felony Accusatory Complaint.

  6. If the juvenile is remanded to detention, securing order must be obtained from Judge and arresting agency must complete transport.

  7. Copies of paperwork must be given to defendant, defense, DA, and parents.

  8. If there are other Crime/Violation charges, list them on all paperwork/prints as well.
